Balcarres is located approximately half a mile outside Fort William town centre, off the main road approaching the town from the south. It is in a peaceful elevated position, enjoying great views over Loch Linnhe, and the Morvern mountains beyond.

To reach Balcarres when approaching Fort William from the south along the A82 turn right into Seafield Gardens shortly after the 30 mph sign. Follow the road round, and then turn off taking the sharp turn left . Balcarres is the 3rd house along.
